Top Performers

After the recent retirements from full-time racing by Jimmie Johnson (all-time leader with 11 Dover wins) and Martin Truex Jr. (four wins), only three active full-time drivers have multiple Dover NASCAR Cup Series victories.

  • KYLE BUSCH: The two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion is the active leader with three Dover NASCAR Cup Series victories. 2024 marked the first season in 20 years where Busch, in his third year driving for Richard Childress Racing, did not register a victory.
  • CHASE ELLIOTT: The 2020 NASCAR Cup Series champion has two Dover NASCAR Cup Series victories. His Hendrick Motorsports teammates, Alex Bowman and Kyle Larson, have also registered recent Dover wins.
  • DENNY HAMLIN: The Joe Gibbs Racing driver enters Dover as the defending champion after winning here in April. Hamlin has two Dover NASCAR Cup Series wins.

Looking For First Dover Cup Win

Several top drivers are still looking for their first NASCAR Cup Series win at Dover, which comes with the famous Monster Trophy, one of the most sought-after prizes in motorsports.

  • CHRISTOPHER BELL: Last week's winner at Atlanta, Bell won two NASCAR Xfinity Series races at Dover in 2018 and 2019.
  • RYAN BLANEY: The 2023 NASCAR Cup Series champion and current points standings leader won a NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Dover in 2017.
  • JOEY LOGANO: The three-time NASCAR Cup Series champion has won four NASCAR Xfinity Series races at Dover after sweeping both events in 2012 and 2013. Only Busch has more Dover NXS victories (five).

Other Contenders

  • TYLER REDDICK: Third in the point standings, Reddick won a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Dover in 2015.
  • BUBBA WALLACE: Fifth in the point standings, Wallace won an ARCA Menards Series East race at Dover in 2011.

As the season progresses, monitoring these drivers' performances will provide clues into potential frontrunners for the upcoming July 18-20 NASCAR weekend at Dover.

We can't wait to see you at the Monster Mile this summer!
