Eleven-time Monster Mile winner Jimmie Johnson will make his first Dover Motor Speedway Cup Series start since 2020 in the Würth 400 NASCAR Cup Series race on Sunday, April 28 (2 p.m., FS1).
The newly inducted NASCAR Hall-of-Famer and seven-time NASCAR champion will drive the No. 84 Toyota part-time for Legacy Motor Club, which he co-owns.
Fellow Hall of Famers Richard Petty, LMC’s Club Ambassador, and Bobby Allison are tied for second place in Dover wins with seven apiece.
Johnson's 83rd and final Cup Series victory to date came at Dover in the AAA 400 Drive for Autism on June 4, 2017.
Marco Andretti, who has started in 18 consecutive Indianapolis 500’s since 2006, will race in the General Tire 150 ARCA Menards Series race on Friday, April 26 (5 p.m., FS1).
The two-time IndyCar winner is the grandson of Mario Andretti and the son of Michael Andretti. The General Tire 150 will mark Andretti's first race at the Monster Mile.
Marco Andretti, the 2022 SRX Series champion, will drive the No. 17 Chevrolet for Cook Racing Technologies in the ARCA Menards Series, running a partial schedule. Andretti will also compete part-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series this year, as well as attempt to qualify for the 2024 Indianapolis 500, a race Johnson also started in 2022.
