Dover Motor Speedway will once again host America’s best drivers, along with fun and excitement for the entire family, in 2025 when NASCAR returns to the Monster Mile – this time in the summer.
Continuing a Delaware tradition that began in 1969, the NASCAR Cup Series race on Sunday, July 20 is the centerpiece of the weekend. The race will be the 107th NASCAR Cup Series event hosted at the Speedway and the first to take place in July since Richard Petty won Dover’s inaugural NASCAR Cup Series race by six laps on July 6, 1969.
Tickets can be locked in for 2025 online at DoverMotorSpeedway.com or by calling the Dover Motor Speedway ticket office at 800-441-RACE (7223).
Rounding out the weekend’s events will be the return of the BetRivers 200 NASCAR Xfinity Series race on Saturday, July 19 and the General Tire 150 ARCA Menards Series race on Friday, July 18.
“In addition to the non-stop action that always takes place on the track, our summer race weekend will allow us to expand on the entertainment and activities that contribute to what is now a must-stop event for all NASCAR fans,” said Mike Tatoian, Dover Motor Speedway’s president and general manager.
