For our July 18-20 NASCAR weekend, there’s always FREE, fun and exciting activities happening in Dover Motor Speedway’s Fan Zone.
Be sure to bring the entire family to the Monster Mile next spring with America’s best drivers return to the World’s Fastest One-Mile Oval. The Fan Zone, frequently cited as the best in NASCAR, is home or nearby countless events during the weekend, including the following:

- Free concerts in The Grove

NEW ACTIVITIES
MILES BEACH, PRESENTED BY VISIT DELAWARE: To celebrate a summer NASCAR weekend, Dover Motor Speedway and Visit Delaware are bringing the tradition, sounds and atmosphere of Delaware’s beach communities to the Monster Mile with the new Miles Beach, presented by Visit Delaware.
More than 1 acre of Dover’s Fan Zone will be devoted to Miles Beach, presented by Visit Delaware, with dozens of family friendly, beach-themed attractions available, including many FREE options.
Miles Beach, presented by Visit Delaware, hours include:
- Thursday, July 17: 3-9 p.m.
- Friday, July 18: Noon to 9 p.m.
- Saturday, July 19: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. (Monster Mile Bash presented by THOR)
- Sunday, July 20: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Some Miles Beach attractions include:
- 600 Tons Of Sand, Lighthouse & More: Miles Beach will include 600 tons of sand to create an authentic beach area with ample seating and shade, along with an authentic boardwalk, palm trees, beach balls, Adirondack chairs, vintage cars and beach grasses! And you won’t be able to miss our 25-foot-tall Lighthouse!
- Boardwalk: What would a beach be without an iconic boardwalk? This structure, at the entrance of Miles Beach, will replicate what you will find at all of the famous Delaware beaches!
- The World's Largest Rubber Duck: This 60-foot-tall, 15.5-ton yellow behemoth will return and tower over Miles Beach and the Fan Zone throughout Dover’s NASCAR weekend. A popular photo attraction, the duck has made frequent U.S. and international appearances in recent years.
- WHITE LIGHTNING Bar + Arcade, presented by BetRivers: An indoor/outdoor hangout for campers and fans to enjoy all weekend, featuring a full bar with Anheuser-Busch products as well as more than a dozen classic arcade favorites is named for the original nickname of Dover Motor Speedway’s concrete track.
- Delicious Food & Refreshing Beverages: Featuring Delaware’s famous orange crushes, crispy boardwalk fries, Dolle’s salt-water taffy and popcorn, ice cream treats sweet treats and other beach-themed favorites.
- Live Appearances & Performances – Miles Beach Stage: The can’t-miss location for entertainment all weekend with live music, celebrity and NASCAR driver appearances and zany, interactive fun! Music will be prominent all weekend long including performances on the stage and across the property by the Mariachi Arrieros Band, Trinidad North Steel Drum Band, The Red Hot Ramblers, and Homestead Bluegrass Band. More performances to be announced soon!
- Huge 22-Ton Sand Sculpture Display: Watch as a talented sand sculptor constructs a masterpiece on Friday and Saturday to be ready for full display on Sunday.
- Miles Beach Patrol: Helpful staff members will be available to answer your questions and guide you around the beach area.
- Free Caricaturist: Custom drawings create a lasting keepsake from race weekend, available all weekend.

- Dunk Tank Benefitting Speedway Children's Charities, Dover Motor Speedway Chapter: Take your shot at dunking special guests in this large water tank, all for a great cause!
SPAZMATICS: Known as “The Ultimate ‘80s New Wave Tribute,” the Spazmatics dazzle audiences around the country with their distinctive stage attire, sounds, dance steps and performances. Everything about the 1980s that you forgot you loved comes back to life when the Spazmatics hit the stage. SHOW DATE: Sunday, July 20 at the Grove Stage.
MIKE HINES & THE LOOK: A 2022 inductee into the Delaware Rock & Roll Society Hall of Fame, Mike Hines & The Look is a high-energy, six-member dance band that has performed up and down the Delaware Valley for almost four decades with their mix of pop, hip-hop, funk, Motown and disco favorites. SHOWTIME: 6 p.m., Saturday, July 19 at the Miles Beach Stage in the Fan Zone after the BetRivers 200 NASCAR Xfinity Series race.
JOE GIBBS GAME PLAN FOR LIFE: Visit the NASCAR and NFL Hall of Famer's activation all weekend for fellowship and guest appearances. Gibbs is a five-time Cup Series championship winning owner and a three-time Super Bowl champion head coach.
CAST IN BRONZE: Nationally recognized carillon performer featuring 35 bells, weighing four tons. This spectacular musical show performed at Mass of Pope John Paul II in New York in 1995 and Walt Disney World from 1998-2003, as well as numerous national TV and radio shows, including NBC’s “Today.”
DIALED ACTION: An extreme sports attraction, with more than 10,000 BMX and motorcycle performances across the country. Scheduled for multiple high-flying performances across the weekend.
SKY HIGH BALLOON GUY: Balloon twisting, stilt walking, and face painting unlike anything you've ever seen! Keep an eye in the heavens for this unique performer.
THE BUBBLE FACTORY: The amazing art of bubbles are brought to life with a blend of humor and showmanship. Bubbles ranging in size from a minivan to a pea will delight audiences of all ages with multiple shows throughout the weekend.
KATIE BLAZE: Experience amazing fire performances and shows that will wow fans of all ages.
AMIRRORCAN MEN: These three performers shimmer and shine like Old Glory itself as they march, stroll, meet & greet, and capture photos with fans while creating memorable moments that sparkle in dazzling red, white and blue suits.
ROCK IT ROBOT: A high-tech body puppet, Rock It is 9-foot gentle giant with his own built-in music for dancing and entertaining as he interacts with guests around the Fan Zone.

MONSTER MONUMENT INTERVIEWS: See some of your favorite NASCAR drivers and personalities for appearances at the famous 46-foot Monster Monument at Victory Plaza on Sunday, July 20. Schedule of guests and times to be announced.
UPTOWN STRING BAND: The pride of Bucks County (Pa.), this Philadelphia-area Mummers group features unique sounds and elaborate costumes which punctuate their performances.
All Weekend
THE AMAZING TYLER: As seen on “America’s Got Talent” and shows across the country for the last nine years, this unique, high-energy performance includes wheelbarrows, bikes and ladders balanced on the performer’s face, combined with music and dancing.
AXE THROWING: Test your aim with six available lanes of throwing action, free and fun all weekend.
DEL RODS CAR CLUB SHOWS: Take a step back in time. A huge display of vintage, restored, and awesome muscle cars will be on display in the Fan Zone with July 19-20 shows.
HISTORICAL HIGHLIGHTS: Relive 50-plus years of racing memories at the Monster Mile with 16 Historical Highlight signs, a part of the NASCAR Legends program, near the Grove Stage and the Monster Monument at Victory Plaza. From Richard Petty to Jimmie Johnson to Dale Earnhardt Jr., learn about some of the top stars and moments that have made Dover Motor Speedway a must-see venue since 1969.
THE LITTLE FARM PETTING ZOO: All your farm favorites are ready to meet the whole family. Attraction includes pony rides, goats, donkeys and other creatures and allows everyone to get up close with a variety of barnyard friends, along with free face painting for the kids!
MONSTER MILE AFTER DARK TOURS: The perfect opportunity to see a NASCAR weekend at Dover from an entirely different perspective. Monster Mile After Dark tours, led by experienced, full-time track personnel, start as our team picks you up at your campsite (or designated location) and visits rarely seen areas of the Monster Mile. Your group can see the following exclusive locations:
- Inside, and on, the Monster Monument
- Walk the banking of the Monster Mile
- Victory Lane
- Infield Media Center
- Monster Bridge overlooking the backstretch and the Turn 3 entrance.

MONSTER TRUCK RIDES: Monster Truck thrill rides will again be available for a small fee near the Monster Monument at Victory Plaza.
NASCAR KIDS ZONE, PRESENTED BY DRINK BLOCKS: Activities for racing fans of all ages abound in this traveling interactive display, which includes fun, games and activities, as well as information on your favorite drivers and the science behind all the technology a NASCAR team utilizes each week.
TRACK TREASURES TRAILER: Mementos, NASCAR collectibles, one-of-a-kind autographed items, clothing and advertising banners for sale near the Monster Monument to benefit Speedway Children’s Charities, Dover Motor Speedway Chapter.
